We believe the church is more than a place to attend—it is a community to belong to and a mission to live out. Our ministries at Southmoore Baptist Church are designed to disciple every generation, strengthen relationships, and equip believers to serve Christ both inside and outside the church.
Adult Ministries
Adult Ministries at Southmoore Baptist Church exist to help adults grow spiritually, connect relationally, and serve faithfully within the church and community. Opportunities include worship and music involvement through the Adult Choir, discipleship and fellowship through L.I.F.T. (Ladies in Fellowship Together), hands-on service through the Men’s Ministry Work Group, and outreach through ministries like Park Ministry and recreational fellowship such as volleyball and pickleball. Together, these ministries provide meaningful ways for adults to grow in Christ and live out their faith in everyday life.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at Southmoore Baptist Church is designed to help students grow in their relationship with Christ while building strong friendships and a lasting foundation of faith. Led by Youth Pastor Hayden Young and his wife Mechel, students are encouraged through weekly Bible study, worship, fellowship, and regular events that strengthen community and spiritual growth. From Sunday School and midweek gatherings to retreats and Falls Creek camp, our desire is to see students live out their faith with confidence and purpose.
Children’s Ministry
Children’s Ministries at Southmoore Baptist Church provide a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment where kids can begin building a strong foundation of faith. Through Sunday morning classes, midweek Bible teaching, special events like Vacation Bible School, and creative opportunities such as Children’s Choir and puppet ministry, children are taught God’s Word in engaging and age-appropriate ways. Our goal is to partner with families in helping children know Jesus, grow in their faith, and develop a lasting love for the church.
